The reason why acai berry is the most acclaimed fruit in the 21st century is because of the health benefits of this acai berry. That is true because acai berry contains almost all the vitamins and minerals that the body needs as well as substances that serve as antioxidants.

Other supplemental substances like phenolics are also found in acai berry. These phenolics include flavonoids, quercetin derivatives, catechin and epi-catechin. Epi-catechin is the same compound that can also be found in green teas; these compounds promote anti-aging.
