I Don’t Like Valentine’s Day?

Why I made a headline like that. I do not want to provoke other people with saying that I do not like valentine’s day. I will tell you the reason at the further post below.

What the reason I don’t like Valentine Day’s?I dislike Valentine’s Day nowadays because this holiday event has been shifted its meaning. Many people have made so high expectations for this valentine’s day. I think its too commercial and overrated.

Before I continue for the next discussion about like and dislike with the Valentine’s Day, Its better to know deeply what is Valentine day. You could read the whole story on Valentine Day’s and its history from Wikipedia. Here are the brief description: “Valentine’s Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine’s cards, or offering candy. It is very common to present flowers on Valentine’s Day. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.”

For me, Valentine’s Day is the same like every day, its just an ordinary day for me. Valentine day’s meaning is a “Love Day”. For me, Every Day is “Love Day”. I love my grandparents, my parents, my husband, my children, my friends, and I Love You all of my blog readers every day, 365 days a year, year to year. She think that love should be shared every day, and not just because it’s a holiday. I 100% agree with her. how About You?

So, what are you do on Valentine’s Day in next 3 days (14 February 2008)? do not want you to dislike valentine’s day. Just shift your mind again, that it’s better to make everyday is Valentine’s Day.

How about me?I will make valentine’s day is a big day for this blog. I will make a big change with this mom blog. I have bought one domain name called: Tipsformoms.net. and I decide to migrate this free blogspot blog to my own domain name using blogger custom domain technique. Because this is a new web address, the pagerank and alexa rank will be dropped for a while, but from my friend experience using this custom domain technique, his Pagerank Jump Up from PR 2 to PR 4 on the next google pagerank update.
