Google Pagerank Update 2008 – Will Done this April
I always want to know when the time google will update my website Pagerank (PR). Before this Tips for Moms blog is is hosted in Blogger.com using a name cityslickergirl.blogspot.com. At that time my blogspot blog has a Page rank (PR) 4. Then, I decide to migrate from hosted blogspot blog to my own Private domain. After I bought This Tips for Moms domain (www.tipsformoms.net) I use blogger custom domain method to transfer all of the traffic and Google page rank juice from cityslickergirl.blogspot.com to my new domain www.tipsformoms.net
I did that process just approximately two month before this day. After I successfully use that blogger custom domain method, I wait several days to weeks, until google update my new site index stats and my new site backlink stats. After waiting for severals days to weeks, I check to google.com Search and type this: site:www.tispformoms.net and link:www.tispformoms.net , and you know, magically google have index my new site and my backlink to the new site same as with the old blogspot address. But here my new site with new domain still have no Page rank, so still waiting for the next google pagerank update for 2008. And guess what? I guess that on this April Google will Update their Pagerank Datacenter.
Why I could say that google pagerank update for 2008 will done at this end of April until May 2008. I realize that because after I check my site pagerank using my favorite pagerank checker using www.digpagerank.com (this free Page rank checker will check your site PageRank from more than 700 data centers), I saw my other site which before have Pagerank, now get a result Datacenters “OFF” or “N/A”, When my first PR update before, if I saw this result at that PR checker, that alert me google will update my site pagerank, it could be Up or Down.
When google still in process to update our pagerank site, the result could vary, one datacenter could say your new pagerank is 3 but another datacenter could say that your new PR is 4, so just wait until all of the datacenters say the same pagerank value of your site. That process could be done on few days to week. So keep in touch with your google pagerank. I saw in my google toolbar that my site pr is PR 4, I hope after google finished the pagerank update, I will get PR 4. What your site PR now?

Yea , Yesterday Google has Updated PR and Backlinks , i’ve got 2-3 and 0-2 for my sites, so its very good for me.
Many webmasters’ve got big drops of Pagerank and backlinks in Google, but let see if any Improvements in Traffic because I guess, quality Traffic is more imprtant for our sites.
Page rank is not big deal for now. only it will help in link building with some good sites.
Thanks
Paul

This page is PR 2 at the moment so you obviously know a thing or two about PR. I also found you via Google by typing in “next Google update” so you’re definitely walking the talk!

I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.
Greetings.

You raise some good points. PageRank is an important consideration but only a small part of the picture. You could have a young site with low Page Rank but it may still rank high for its nominated search terms. Page Rank is no guarantee of SERP, and for a business site you’d much rather have Search term ranking, traffic and business than a high PR alone.
