Do I Need a Financial Coach?
At a time when the economy is in a down-turn, household budgets have become more important than ever. For some, however, the budget may be overshadowed by too much debt and finding a way to deal with it all can be daunting. This is the point at which you have to determine if you need a financial coach.
There are other reasons, other than organizing finances, why an individual may need a financial coach. Whether it’s preparing for retirement, seeking advice on insurance, tax preparation, stocks and bonds, or estate planning – having someone available who is an expert in these areas can save you time and money in the long term.
Or perhaps you just need a financial coach to ascertain if you are on the right path to saving for your children’s college tuition or if your budget is on track to meet the needs of your family’s future.
For others who may be setting up a home business, a financial coach may be just the person you need to help you prepare a five-year business plan, and help you to understand what type of insurance your company may require. In addition, a financial coach can demonstrate how to set up accounting records and/or set up a payroll system.
There are some individuals who invest heavily in the stock market and need a financial coach to look at their portfolio to determine if the investments are sound, or if additional modifications should be made.
For baby boomers, having a financial coach can be invaluable in planning and executing their retirement portfolio. A coach who has expertise in this area can determine whether or not you have a sound financial return on your retirement benefits as well as health insurance to enable you to retire in comfort.
Perhaps your financial coach is your own tax accountant, who has been able to steer you in the right direction on how to increase capital for retirement or business purposes.
Let’s face it; we all need financial advice at some point in our life – and a financial coach can provide assistance in areas of concern to you and your family.
